Junior Brand Manager

THE OPPORTUNITY:
This is your chance to step into a hands-on Junior Brand Manager role where you’ll help shape how NZME’s Publishing brands show up in market. You’ll support the development and execution of integrated brand and marketing activity, working closely with content, creative and commercial teams to deliver campaigns that connect with audiences and drive growth.
As a true brand champion, you’ll dive into consumer insights, identify opportunities, and help create engaging brand experiences that strengthen brand perception and performance. From campaign planning through to execution and reporting, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our brands remain consistent, compelling and competitive across all channels.
HOW YOU’LL DO IT:
You’ll take an integrated and collaborative approach to marketing, ensuring brand activity aligns with broader business goals and audience growth objectives.
Assist in developing and delivering above and below the line campaigns
Write clear, high-quality creative briefs and partner with creative teams
Collaborate with Content, Customer, Partnerships and Commercial teams
Ensure brand consistency across tone, visuals and messaging
Monitor campaign performance and provide insight-driven recommendations
Analyse audience data and market trends to identify new opportunities
Support the management of brand resources and marketing collateral
Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and clear communication
Contribute positively to a high-performing, energetic team culture
ABOUT YOU:
You’re a creative and commercially minded marketer who loves bringing brands to life. You’re equally comfortable analysing data as you are contributing to bold ideas.
3+ years’ experience in marketing, brand or advertising roles
Strong understanding of the full marketing mix
Creative thinker with the ability to develop compelling campaigns
Confident working with data, insights and performance metrics
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Highly organised with strong multi-tasking ability
Collaborative, adaptable and solutions-focused
Proficient in MS Office with strong written communication skills
A tertiary qualification in marketing, media or a related field is preferred, along with experience in multimedia or fast-paced environments.
