At The Hits, we love big ideas, loud moments and promotions that people can’t stop talking about. We’re on the hunt for a brand and promotions expert to lead bold, content led campaigns that excite our audience.
What You’ll Do
The primary purpose of this role is to drive audience engagement through innovative, high impact promotional campaigns.
You’ll be the strategic lead for all promotions and activations — ensuring everything we do is on brand, audience first, commercially appealing, and flawlessly executed.
How You’ll Do It
Lead The Hits promotions and activations strategy, shaping the broader brand plan
Develop bold, multi-platform campaigns with content, digital, marketing and commercial teams
Own partnerships, concerts and commercial integrations — from ideation to delivery
Champion the brand in client briefs and integrated sales opportunities
Align regional markets through strong relationships and regular collaboration
Ensure campaigns are delivered to a high standard, on time and within budget
Use insights and market intelligence to inform future strategy
Manage and grow the promo team, including rostering, onboarding and training
Support NZ Radio Awards submissions
What You’ll Bring
At least 4+ years' in media or marketing, preferably with skills in promotions or campaign management
A creative, ideas driven mindset with a passion for innovation
Strong commercial acumen and understanding of integrated brand partnerships
A results focused approach with high levels of ownership and accountability
Natural influencing and negotiation skills
Exceptional communication and relationship building abilities
Confidence presenting ideas to internal teams and external partners
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
