This is a great opportunity for someone with a few years’ experience to step into a role that offers variety, responsibility, and exposure to how large-scale campaigns come together.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Commercial Audio & Partnerships Project Manager, you’ll support and manage the delivery of commercial content campaigns across Newstalk ZB, including integrated activity within The Country.
Working closely with sales, content, clients and internal teams, you’ll help bring campaigns to life, making sure everything runs smoothly, stays on track, and delivers for both NZME and our clients.
You’ll also support the delivery of partnerships and events, giving you experience across different parts of the business and helping you build a well-rounded understanding of commercial content.
This role is a great platform to build your skills, grow your confidence working with different stakeholders, and gain exposure to high-profile campaigns.
HOW YOU’LL DO IT
• Manage the end-to-end delivery of commercial content campaigns from handover to completion
• Build and track campaign timelines, keeping all stakeholders aligned
• Coordinate internal teams and external partners to deliver campaign elements
• Support client WIPs and maintain clear, regular communication throughout campaigns
• Keep project documentation, timelines and budgets up to date
• Monitor costs and flag any risks or issues early
• Contribute to campaign reporting and post-campaign analysis
• Support the delivery of partnerships and concert activations
• Ensure campaigns meet NZME standards, editorial guidelines and ASA requirements
ABOUT YOU
You’re organised, proactive and enjoy working with different people. You’re confident managing multiple tasks and are keen to build your experience in a fast-paced media environment.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in media, agency or project-based roles
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach
• A solutions-focused mindset and willingness to learn
• Confidence using Microsoft Office tools
• Attention to detail and pride in delivering work to a high standard
