Audio Content Project Manager

THE OPPORTUNITY
As an Audio Content Project Manager, you’ll manage the post‑sale delivery of commercial content campaigns across NZME’s powerful mix of radio brands including ZM, The Hits, Radio Hauraki, Coast and Flava. Working with a dedicated team Project Managers you'll work closely with clients, sales, and content teams, ensuring every campaign you manage is delivered on time, on budget and to brief. This role is critical to client satisfaction, repeat business, and delivering measurable campaign outcomes.
HOW YOU’LL DO IT
Project manage end‑to‑end implementation of commercial content campaigns
Build detailed timing plans with clear milestones and deadlines
Contribute to client WIPs, keeping all stakeholders aligned and informed
Coordinate internal teams and external contributors to deliver campaign assets
Maintain accurate project documentation, timelines and budgets
Monitor and manage out‑costs, proactively flagging risks and overruns
Provide regular campaign reporting, optimisation insights and post‑campaign analysis
Escalate issues early to protect campaign outcomes and NZME’s reputation
Ensure all activity aligns with editorial standards, ASA regulations and NZME policies
Contribute implementation insight to new product and process development
ABOUT YOU
You’re a confident, organised and collaborative project manager ideally with experience in a fast‑paced media environment. You’re comfortable juggling multiple stakeholders, deadlines and budgets—without losing sight of the client experience.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Minimum 1–2 years commercial project management experience in media or transferable skills
Skill at multi-tasking and time management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with sound judgement
Confidence working with Microsoft Office tools
Respect for confidentiality and high professional standards
A collaborative approach and willingness to go the extra mile when needed
