The Data Analyst plays a crucial role in our NSM team at NZME’s iconic Ellerslie print plant,

You will be energetic and passionate about influencing decisions and actions of others by leveraging data to support your arguments. Your ability to problem solve, build strong relationship and high attention to detail are other key qualities that will add value.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Subscriber Marketing: Execute scheduled subscriber marketing journeys and refine datasets to enhance the effectiveness of ongoing campaigns, ensuring the highest level of data accuracy.

• Reporting: Develop reports that allow the business to identify key measures of success Design, develop, and test business reports to support the department.

• Business Insights: Extract and analyse data to generate insights and communicate findings to the leadership team.

• Strategy - Sales strategy (costing of offers, trials, telemarketing targets, incentives, conversion rates)

• Oversee all aspects of Hive Marketing Cloud operations, including meticulous dataset supervision and timely updates.

• Ad hoc requests for marketing data and analysis

• Supply Management - Assist with managing the weekly supply management process to calculate forthcoming weeks supply allocation. Undertake analysis to improve the efficiency of the supply system.

ABOUT YOU:

• Experience working with complex data and able to provide quality reporting to aid and enhance decision making.

• Ability to manage and build relationships with internal stakeholders and teams.

• Experience in using Power BI, Big Query and SQL to deliver business insights.

• Experience in delivering customer communications, from translating business requirements, through to data delivery and implementation (preferred).

• Solid verbal and written presentation and communication skills.

• High attention to detail with ability to present accurate and timely insights.

• Drive to discover efficiencies, improve process and adding value.

• The willingness to learn new systems and processes is essential.
