Commercial Partnerships Lead
Lead high-impact media partnerships at NZME, owning end-to-end delivery of standout sponsorships that drive brand, audience and commercial success.
Do you love bringing projects to life and enjoy working with lots of moving parts ensuring great ideas are delivered smoothly? Are you organised, proactive and happiest when coordinating deliverables, timelines and activations to bring partnerships to life?
At NZME, we’re looking for a Commercial Partnerships Lead to support the delivery of a wide range of media partnerships. This is a hands‑on, delivery‑focused role where strong organisation, clear communication and follow‑through are key.
Why this role is exciting
You’ll work closely with internal teams, partners and clients to help deliver NZME partnerships from briefing through to completion. Supporting multiple projects at once, you’ll play an important role in keeping timelines, deliverables and activity running smoothly.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structure, variety and collaboration, and who gets satisfaction from seeing well‑run projects come together.
What you’ll be doing
Leading the day‑to‑day coordination and delivery of NZME partnerships, keeping timelines, deliverables and activity on track
Working with stakeholders to ensure expectations, deliverables and timeframes are clear and well‑communicated
Managing and coordinating promotional activity including interviews, leverage activity, collateral, tickets and activations, with strong attention to detail
Maintaining project tracking, runsheets and work‑in‑progress documents to support smooth delivery
Supporting on‑the‑ground activations and assisting with post‑campaign reporting and wrap‑ups
Acting as a reliable, organised point of contact between internal teams, partners and clients
About you
You’re organised, dependable and comfortable juggling multiple tasks at once.
You’ll bring:
Minimum two years experience in a compatible coordinator role, ideally in sponsorship, marketing or events, with an eagerness to step up. Media experience is a bonus, but not essential.
Strong organisational skills and confidence managing competing deadlines
Exceptional attention to detail and a practical, hands‑on approach
Clear, professional communication skills and a collaborative working style
Confidence using everyday tools like Microsoft Office, Teams, Canva or similar systems
A positive, solutions‑focused mindset and willingness to learn and grow
Why NZME?
At NZME, our purpose is to keep Kiwis in the know. Our partnerships help connect audiences with brands, events and experiences that matter, and this role plays an important part in making that happen.
You’ll be supported by a collaborative team, gain exposure to a wide range of media partnerships, and build your skills in a fast‑moving, creative environment.
If you’re looking for a hands‑on partnerships role focused on delivery and coordination, we’d love to hear from you.
