Commercial Enablement Manager - Fixed Term
Lead NZME’s commercial engine! Power sales performance, own iconic sales events, and drive growth as our media partner of choice.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
You’ll play a key enablement role within NZME’s Commercial Operations team, supporting our Direct Sales teams nationwide to perform at their best. Your focus is on equipping sales teams with the right tools, systems, events, and programmes to help them grow revenue, retain clients, and position NZME as the media partner of choice for New Zealand businesses.
HOW YOU’LL DO IT:
Enable Direct Sales teams across radio, print, and digital to deliver consistent, high‑impact sales execution.
Partner with regional leaders to build a high‑performance, accountable sales culture, tracking KPIs through HubSpot.
Lead national sales events and conferences, including the Annual Sales Academy and GSM/SM Conference.
Own commercial Reward & Recognition programmes, including the Top Sales Performer event.
Drive sales performance initiatives and revenue challenges alongside senior commercial leaders.
Ensure sales collateral, updates, and communications are current and accessible.
Support go‑to‑market activity, Sales Academy initiatives, and CRM optimisation.
Champion customer‑centric workflows, continuous improvement, and compliance across Commercial Operations.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Proven experience delivering events end‑to‑end with strong planning and coordination skills. Ideally around 4-5 years’ of relevant experience in sales support/enablement, event planning or media.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
High attention to detail with a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset.
Strong relationship‑builder with an NZME‑wide, collaborative approach.
Strong capability in CRM and sales booking systems.
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
