Digital Performance Manager
Lead NZME’s owned media performance, mentoring a high energy team to deliver precise, premium campaigns that maximise yield, revenue and impact.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Join a multi‑award‑winning team as Digital Performance Manager – Owned Media. You’ll be the service lead, elevating campaign delivery across display, video, native and audio while embedding a culture of accuracy, collaboration and continuous improvement. Your leadership ensures campaigns launch on time, deliver as booked, and meet internal and external expectations for quality and performance.
HOW YOU'LL DO IT
- Lead, mentor and grow a market‑leading Digital Campaign Management team, setting clear KPIs and fostering accountability and professional development.
- Oversee trafficking, delivery and optimisation across NZME’s owned media inventory, safeguarding premium ad experiences and protecting supply.
- Implement operational best practice, refined processes and innovative technologies to lift efficiency, accuracy and yield.
- Collaborate closely with Campaign Managers, Product, Ad Tech, Editorial, Sales and Insights to align execution with strategy and revenue goals.
- Provide expert analysis and insights, monitoring performance, reporting outcomes and continually identifying opportunities to maximise revenue and inventory utilisation.
- Champion documentation, training and onboarding to sustain standards and enable continuous improvement.
ABOUT YOU
- 5+ years in digital advertising operations, leading high‑performing teams and delivering at scale.
- Service‑led mindset with excellent stakeholder management, problem‑solving and organisation, comfortable managing multiple priorities.
- Strong understanding of ad tech platforms, plus proficiency with third‑party tracking and core ad tech concepts. Including, but not limited to ad servers, SSPs, DSPs and rich media build platforms (e.g. Triton TAP, Google Ad Manager, DV360, TTD, DCM, IAS, GA4 etc)
- Able to influence decisions with strategic insights on process improvement and technology adoption.
