THE OPPORTUNITY
Are you passionate about people, persuasive by nature, and driven by results? NZME is seeking an energetic Outbound Telesales Consultant to boost newspaper subscriptions across our iconic publications. This is a part-time role and would be perfect for someone who loves engaging with customers and wants flexibility while making a real impact.
HOW YOU’LL DO IT
You’ll engage with residential and business customers via outbound calls, offering tailored subscription packages and delivering exceptional service. Your day-to-day will include:
- Reaching out to cancelled and prospective subscribers with compelling offers.
- Supporting marketing campaigns and cross-selling NZME products.
- Collaborating with internal teams to resolve customer issues and share insights.
- Using data and analytics to understand audience needs and refine your approach.
- Accurately entering sales into our systems and meeting or exceeding targets.
ABOUT YOU
You’re a confident communicator with a knack for persuasion and a resilient attitude. You thrive in a team environment and love smashing goals. Ideally, you’ll bring:
- Experience in customer service, sales, or contact centre roles.
- Strong attention to detail and a strategic mindset.
