Ready to make your mark in one of New Zealand’s most dynamic media and digital companies? We are looking for a proactive and talented Intermediate Product Manager to join our dynamic team and help deliver innovative digital experiences to our customers.
This is a full time, hybrid role where you will work closely with software engineers, quality assurance engineers, UX designers, editorial, customer engagement, commercial, marketing and data teams on the delivery of our digital products.
ABOUT YOU:
- Demonstrate proven success in a digital environment with minimum 3 years’ experience in product management.
- Specific experience with a B2C product
- Experience working in an agile framework or business.
- Capability to work with OKRs and apply prioritisation frameworks and techniques.
- Organisation, individual initiative, and personal accountability.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire stakeholders.
- Have a test and learn mindset and experience with an AB testing tool would be desirable.
- Understanding of editorial workflows and experience with content management systems (CMS) or subscriptions products is preferred.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with business stakeholders to define and execute product priorities and strategic vision.
- Own and develop the product roadmap, collaborating on business and project planning.
- Support quarterly planning and prioritisation with the Product Owner and stakeholders.
- Leverage content and audience insights to deliver best in class User Experience and meet digital KPI’s.
- Work closely with the CRO and User Experience teams to conduct customer testing and research
- Day to day management of the squad backlog via JIRA - working collaboratively with vendors, software engineers, quality engineers, UX designers, Data engineers and more, to deliver features and updates to NZME’s digital product suite
- Communicate clearly and transparently with stakeholders on roadmap progress
- Triage, escalation, management and communication relating to business-critical issues.
