Customer Services Manager - Agency
Lead a high-performing support team, streamline sales coordination, and drive efficiency to help NZME’s sales force hit their goals.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Make life easier for your sales team in attaining their goals by carrying out all daily administrative and sales coordination duties quickly and efficiently. Develop, coach and lead the Agency Sales Support team, provide efficient coordination and support for the sales team.
HOW YOU’LL DO IT:
Account Coordination:
- Support your sales team to sell by providing exceptional administration and coordination support duties as directed by your manager
- Lead and oversee the team to ensure they are fully supporting the sales team to enable them to sell and reach targets.
- Ensure efficiencies and processes of all sales collateral are optimised.
- Conduct sales coordination duties as and when required.
- Effectively liaise and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide solutions across your team, address issues as they arise and communicate outcomes swiftly.
- Successfully identify, manage, and take accountability for any escalated issues raised by the team.
Leadership:
- Develop, coach and provide guidance to the team in line with NZME values and best practice.
- Help build the NZME culture through active participation with recruitment, on-boarding, staff engagement, performance management and development.
- Proactively manage team performance and conduct regular one-to-one meetings with all team members.
- Develop two-way communication channels with all stakeholders and the team to ensure they’re always up to date with relevant deadlines, campaigns, offerings and have an avenue for feedback.
- Drive open communication between teams and ensure you celebrate in successes.
Planning and organisational skills:
- Work quickly and efficiently, managing time and prioritising to meet all deadlines
- Liaise effectively in all planning meetings and juggle multiple priorities
- Operate with an NZME-wide mentality, fostering strong communication with internal and external stakeholder
System, Process Improvement & Support:
- Lead and encourage innovation and idea generation to identify smarter ways to do things and take accountability to drive implementation.
Client-focussed:
- Think customer and client-first, fostering positive relationships with external stakeholders
Technical skills:
- Master all necessary equipment, CRM and applicable systems related to the Sales Support role, to provide training and support.
- Demonstrating competence in up-to-date sales techniques and solutions sales across multiple platforms– e.g. print, digital, radio, video

ABOUT YOU:
Background: 1 to 2+ years Sales Support experience. Impeccable attention to detail. Proven success in supporting a high functioning, fast paced sales teams. System and IT savvy (high level competency with all Microsoft office tools).
Communication: You’ll be an effective communicator and will keep managers and colleagues updated on all necessary information. Relate confidently and appropriately with people inside and outside the organisation.
Teamwork: You’ll welcome input, respect others’ views and contribute positively to NZME as a whole.

Be adaptable in dealing with change.
