THE OPPORTUNITY

NZME is on the lookout for a talented individual to join our team as South Island Commercial Partnerships Manager on a 9-month parental leave contract. Based in Dunedin or Christchurch, you’ll collaborate with the wider South Island Commercial team, as well as our Nationwide Partnerships and Brand leads.

You’ll be involved with legendary events like the Dunedin Craft Beer & Food Festival, Warbirds Over Wanaka, Canterbury Cricket, Wildfoods Festival, Illuminate, and Riccarton Cup Week—just to name a few.

HOW YOU’LL DO IT

• Coordinate and deliver activations that align with NZME’s brands and initiatives.
• Evaluate and leverage partnerships to drive commercial outcomes, audience growth, and engaging content.
• Manage budgets and prepare partnership plans that support NZME’s strategic priorities.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders while delivering best-practice brand leverage and partnership management.

This is a hands-on, commercially focused role where you’ll gain valuable sponsorship experience, expand your professional network, and be part of some of the South Island’s most exciting events.
