THE OPPORTUNITY:
Here’s an opportunity to build advertising campaigns in a desirable suite of iconic brands and media platforms with a well-established portfolio of clients. If you’re an innovative, dynamic and savvy media solutions provider who prides yourself on your creativity and flair in the market, read on.
As a seasoned, cross-platform media sales professional, you’re able to smash out targets, break revenue barriers and consistently exceed client expectations. You’re multi-faceted in your approach, a consummate relationship builder, eternally professional and experienced in creating awesome integration and content campaigns.
HOW YOU’LL DO IT:
- Account management and growth.
- Achieving projected sales targets through campaign solutions.
- Client engagement to support revenue growth and revenue initiatives.
- Take advantage of new business development opportunities.
- A strong understanding of market trends, know the competition and understand how strategies and tactics work in the marketplace.
- Demonstrate strategic thinking and provide highly strategic direction to clients.
- Become an expert in NZME products and platforms; continuously work to increase knowledge of media landscape.
- Work efficiently and liaising effectively in planning meetings to contribute new ideas and prioritise the best campaign solutions.
ABOUT YOU:
- You’ll have at least 4 years of experience in sales or media planning.
- You’ll be an outside the box thinker, have a strong audience focus, and dynamic customer relationships are crucial to you.
- Strong commercial acumen – Use your proven sales abilities to provide the best solutions for clients.
- You’ll bring a positive focus and attitude, with a natural affinity for building relationships – you’re a real “people person” who values fostering business connections.
- Be comfortable providing information on market trends and sales reporting.
- Collaborative and team-orientated – you’ll welcome others input and contribute positively to the team as a whole.
