What You'll Bring:
- A strong track record in journalism, with a sharp news sense and investigative flair
- Clear, compelling writing and the ability to deliver live, authoritative political reporting
- Confidence under pressure—especially during fast-moving political developments
- A keen analytical mind and a deep understanding of the political landscape
- The resilience and drive to thrive in a demanding, fast-paced environment
What You'll Do:
- Break and report the biggest political stories of the day
- Think ahead and collaborate with NZME’s wider news team to keep ZB ahead of the curve
- Adapt to a varied work schedule including nights and weekends
