THE OPPORTUNITY:
Love working at the speed of light to bring award winning creative to life? We’re looking for an entry to mid-level audio engineer to join our Sound Production Team in Auckland. You need to be organised, talented, fully mad about sound, new tech and tools.
Our terrestrial and digital audio advertising connects people using theatre of the mind soundscapes (you), ideas and skilled scripting (copywriters). It’s collaborative, fluid, full on and you’ll need to love working amongst the buzz and energy that being in media brings. Along with a core radio audio remit, you’ll grow skills in video post mixing, AI tools and working with a range of formats and styles.
HOW YOU'LL DO IT:
- Produce NZME commercial and programme audio
- Maintain knowledge of the brand sound and imaging qualities of all NZME and iHR radio stations When required select sound effects and music beds, direct talent and edit scripts
- Produce all non-traditional audio to a high quality and transmit as required internally or externally Ensure all finished audio to be to Broadcast Quality standard
- Ensure pronunciation and interpretation of all scripts is correct
- Ensure client studio experience recording material is welcoming, professional and meets the client brief
- Receive, retrieve, backup and send audio when and when required
ABOUT YOU:
- Audio Engineering qualifications from a recognised tertiary facility
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite
- Protools software, AI audio tools and music/composing.
- Desirable: video post production, copywriting
