Newstalk ZB is seeking a Political Editor to lead cutting-edge political coverage that informs, engages, and influences the national conversation.

Based in Newstalk ZB's Press Gallery office at Parliament this role requires an exceptional communicator with expertise in New Zealand politics, policy, and media law. You will be responsible for delivering accurate, compelling, and insightful political analysis, breaking major stories, and shaping the discourse for our audience.

Your ability to interview key political figures, produce authoritative commentary, and provide rapid, informed reporting is essential. You will work closely with the wider Newstalk ZB team to ensure our political coverage remains indispensable to listeners nationwide.
