THE OPPORTUNITY:

Join NZME as our Account Manager – Corporate Subscriptions, where you'll be a driving force behind the growth of our corporate digital subscriptions business. 

In this pivotal role, you’ll manage a portfolio of existing corporate clients, ensuring high satisfaction, retention, and renewals - while also identifying and converting new business opportunities. 

You’ll represent NZME’s digital subscription brands such as Herald Premium and BusinessDesk working with a wide range of corporate partners across New Zealand.

HOW YOU'LL DO IT:

• Develop tailored annual renewal strategies aligned to client needs while managing yield and budget cycles as part of those renewals.
• Conduct regular account reviews to promote client engagement, drive usage, and ensure they are maximising the full value of their subscriptions.
• Identify and pursue new corporate subscription opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and inbound leads.
• Accurately manage CRM records, sales pipeline activity, and forecasting.

ABOUT YOU:

• 3+ years’ experience in account management or business development.
• Proven success managing and growing corporate client portfolios.
• Ideally experienced in media, SaaS, or subscription-based business environments.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Strategic, customer-focused thinker with strong communication and presentation skills.
