THE OPPORTUNITY:

Are you ready to revolutionise the audio landscape? At NZME, we're on a mission to become Number One in Audio, and we need a visionary Content Director to lead the charge. 

You'll be at the forefront of our transition from 'Radio' to 'Audio.' Working closely with the Head of Digital Audio, you'll craft and execute strategies that deliver world-class digital audio experiences for our listeners and clients. Your focus will be on expanding our audience reach, increasing engagement, and driving revenue opportunities.

HOW YOU'LL DO IT:

• Innovate and Lead: Develop and lead iHeartRadio content initiatives across News, Music, Radio, and Podcasts to boost listening hours, registrations, engagement, and app downloads
• Strategise and Execute: Oversee the day-to-day content strategy, ensuring all iHeartRadio content is targeted, crafted, and executed to the highest standards
• Drive Integration: Implement cross-promotion strategies to integrate the iHeartRadio experience across NZME radio stations, enhancing listener adoption
• Optimise Performance: Monitor performance metrics to optimise customer engagement, registration uptake, and total listening hours
• Curate Content: Program streams and playlists to keep them relevant and exciting for various target audiences
• Promote Growth: Ensure new product releases and app updates are effectively promoted to attract new users
• Manage Instore Radio: Oversee in-store programming to enhance the iHeartRadio experience
• Expand Podcast Network: Lead the iHeartRadio NZ Podcast Network strategy, delivering on audience objectives and expanding our catalogue
• Develop Opportunities: Identify and develop new content opportunities through third-party suppliers or podcast creators to increase distribution and platform usage

ABOUT YOU:

• You have 7+ years of experience in a relevant industry, with essential expertise in Radio/Audio and a relevant qualification.
• You're an effective communicator, confident in engaging with people inside and outside the organization
• You welcome input, respect others' views, and contribute positively to NZME.
• You're adaptable and proactive in problem-solving and planning
• You take responsibility for your ongoing learning and make the most of personal development opportunities at NZME.
