Newstalk ZB is on the hunt for a driven, up and coming news producer or journalist to produce Early Edition with Ryan Bridge.

This is an opportunity to be a key part of the morning team that sets the day’s news agenda.

You will have a great understanding of local and international news and know how to drive a story along. You will present the day’s news in a way that engages our audience.

Working for Early Edition requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to sometimes rapidly changing news stories. You will happily receive direction, and equally operate efficiently on your own.

This role would also give you the skills to see news from a broader perspective and be part of the driving force behind how our shows come together.

You will need a background in journalism and a good attitude. Radio or production experience isn’t necessary but will put you ahead of the pack.
