THE OPPORTUNITY:
The NZME Northern commercial team is actively seeking an energetic individual who will shape, lead, and execute our Digital Performance strategy for the Northern commercial teams, to achieve revenue and yield targets. As the head of a performance-driven digital team, you’ll lead a high-performing, and motivated group that excels against critical performance metrics for the business.
As a key player in the digital leadership team, your focus will be on supporting the group’s strategic goals, driving revenue, share, and profitability with major clients across all channels.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Drive and achieve Northern’s NZME Direct digital sales revenue, EBIT and growth targets.
- Influence our team of Media Specialists to develop customer relationships, exploit opportunities and drive a customer focused approach across the team utilising our suite of digital products
- Drive a sales performance culture aligned to the Northern sales strategy to ensure the performance of NZME’s key sales metrics.
- Lead Sales Teams and enable them to develop long term key client relationship strategies that will enhance NZME’s position in the market and achieve digital revenue targets, focusing on client opportunities, customer service delivery and revenue growth.
- Assisting in attracting, developing, and retaining the best sales people in the industry; identify high performers and provide development and succession planning opportunities. Manage under performance and develop and implement learning and development plan to address skill gaps as well as skill enhancement where necessary.
- Build and maintain a strong knowledge of all NZME’s digital offerings and be able to articulate their positioning to both internal and external stakeholders.
SKILLS:
Minimum of five years’ experience in digital marketing and selling digital and/or media solutions. Exceptional coaching abilities to inspire and lead teams in delivering exceptional customer service and achieving revenue targets and an ability to impart your digital knowledge to others.
You will be a natural collaborator, with strong relationship building skills and a passion for creativity and innovation
