THE BRIEF:

NZME is one of New Zealand's largest media and entertainment companies, and our Creative team is at the heart of bringing brand stories to life. We're on the lookout for a qualified junior Graphic Designer to join us, someone who's passionate about digital design and ready to help shape compelling client campaigns.

This is a hands-on, collaborative role focused primarily on digital design and client campaigns - from concept through to final delivery. If you love crafting effective creative work and want to do it alongside a talented team in a fast-paced media environment, read on.

WHAT YOU'LL CREATE:

Day to day, you'll be:

• Developing concepts, storyboards, and mock-ups, then taking them through to final asset production

• Deliver digital creative executions, as well as client campaigns across social, print and other platforms, bringing creative strategy and communication objectives to life at every audience touchpoint

• Contributing to presentations and project reviews, sharing industry insights and best practice examples to inspire innovative thinking

• Managing creative files with precision - naming conventions, server storage, and all the detail in between

YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU BRING:

• 1–2+ years' experience in a junior design role within an agency, client, media, or publishing environment

• Proven ability to deliver integrated creative campaigns, either solo or collaboratively, with a track record of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines

• Full competency in Adobe Creative Cloud, with HTML5 experience (a must) and working knowledge of Figma, GDN and Google G-Suite preferred

• Motion Graphics knowledge and creative awards experience - both a welcome bonus

• Strong communication skills — confident presenting your work and comfortable working with multiple internal and external stakeholders

• Familiarity with WorkflowMax or equivalent project management software

• A proactive, detail-minded approach and a genuine passion for the creative process
