Client Engagement and Activation Lead

THE OPPORTUNITY
As our Client Engagement & Activation Lead, you'll lead the delivery of NZME's B2B engagement programme, creating premium events, activations and experiences that showcase our brands and deepen customer relationships.
Working across Commercial, Partnerships, Brand and Marketing teams, you'll bring ideas to life from concept to execution. Whether you're hosting clients on a behind-the-scenes building tour, producing an event in the iHeart Lounge or developing new activation concepts, no two days will be the same.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
· Build strong relationships across sales, content, editorial and marketing teams to deliver outstanding client experiences.
· Support client engagement initiatives that strengthen customer relationships and drive commercial growth.
· Help bring key customer meetings, events and engagement opportunities to life.
· Work closely with sales and marketing teams to deliver market-leading client engagement programmes.
· Coordinate activations, partner programmes and communications that showcase NZME's brands and capabilities.
· Manage event logistics, guest communications, RSVP processes and supplier relationships.
· Prepare proposals, briefing documents and client-facing materials, ensuring content remains current and effective.
ABOUT YOU
You'll be a natural relationship-builder who thrives on creating memorable experiences and delivering exceptional outcomes.
You'll bring:
· 3+ years' experience in media, marketing, events, partnerships, publishing or agency environments.
· Strong project management and organisational skills.
· Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
· High attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
· A collaborative, proactive and solutions-focused approach.
· Knowledge of the New Zealand media landscape and client marketing needs.
· A passion for innovation and customer experience.
