THE OPPORTUNITY:

We’re hiring! Right now, we’re excited to be looking for a full-time audio engineer who can also bring a side of copywriting to join our mighty audio creative team in Auckland.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

We work fast and are searching for a like-minded great human to join our hugely supportive, tech savvy and constantly changing environment – no two days are the same!

• Create high-quality audio advertising and content, partnering with stakeholders to deliver creative solutions and expert advice.

• Use sound effects, music, talent direction and script refinement to bring ideas to life.

• Leverage AI tools and audio production technology to enhance creativity, efficiency and output quality.

• Manage recording sessions, troubleshoot technical issues and solve production challenges.

• Maintain audio assets, ensuring files are received, backed up, organised and delivered accurately and on time.

You’ll be working closely with copywriters, account managers and clients and your work will shine all over our radio stations across the country, digital and podcast platforms including Hauraki, ZM, The Hits, Flava, Coast, Newstalk ZB and iHeartRadio.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

• You’ll either be already in the industry, or an adjacent one and multiskilled in both audio production and copywriting and looking for the next leap.

• To thrive, you’ll need to know your away around producing a 30 second audio ad, understand perspective and theatre of the mind and genuinely love the craft of audio storytelling.

• We’re after someone who brings natural curiosity, follow through and strong time management - these go hand in hand for us with big quality, clever problem solving and creativity.
