Video Content Producer

The opportunity:
Come and join NZME as a Video Content Producer and play a key role in developing, producing, and delivering standout video content for internal and external clients across all NZME brands. You’ll work directly with leading media talent and be part of a high-performing, creative team in a modern, well-equipped office.
You will need to be able to produce, direct and shoot video. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning the whole video process and has the drive, skills and attitude to juggle multiple projects. If you are confident, curious and solution-focused, you will thrive and grow in this role.
Key Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities
Receive and interpret briefs from clients and colleagues.
Develop and storyboard concepts and scripts.
Prepare production budgets and develop production approaches that bring concepts to life within agreed budgets.
Find filming locations and oversee all location and in-studio shoots.
Produce, direct, and/or film video content and manage talent.
Set up lighting, camera and audio equipment, and operate production equipment as required.
Manage deadlines and ensure high-quality production that matches the overall vision and concept.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to build an effective, efficient, and creative team environment.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications required:
3+ years’ hands-on experience producing, directing and filming video content, ideally in the film, TV or video production industry.
Experience producing video for commercial purposes an advantage.
Confident operating professional camera equipment, with good working knowledge of lighting and audio setup.
Showreel demonstrating strong filming, directing and storytelling ability.
Good understanding of editing, grading and sound workflows.
Confident communicator, comfortable working with clients, talent, colleagues and crew.
Curiosity about new techniques and technologies in video production.
Qualification in film, video or advertising creativity is a bonus.
