So, what do we need from you?

• A journalism qualification, preferably with at least one year of experience (broadcasting experience a plus)

• The ability to write succinct, clean tight copy

• Be a news junkie with a sound general knowledge

• A good broadcasting voice and ability to think on your feet, as live to air work is required

• Great ideas and a fantastic general knowledge

• Be a self-starter and also able to work in a team

• Be willing to work weekends and shifts, including early starts and late finishes

• An engaging, positive attitude and a good sense of humour

• Have the ability to establish a wide range of contacts

• An open mind and willingness to develop your skills across a range of platforms
