Client and Content Solutions Team Lead - Wellington
This role is to represent our premium media brands through the exceptional management and delivery of commercial campaigns and content projects.
As a member of the NZME Client & Content Solutions Team, your role will be to represent our premium media brands through the exceptional management and delivery of commercial campaigns, partnerships, content projects and promotional activity.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
The primary purpose of this role is to bring commercial campaigns and partnerships to life. You’ll work to achieve this through the development of integrated, audience-led solutions. This includes managing on-air promotional activities, coordinating on-street activations, and planning and organising the setup of casual brand ambassadors. You will lead and mentor a direct report and develop relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Help meet sales goals for the brands you manage.
- Contribute to brainstorming and sales planning.
- Oversee casual brand ambassadors, including hiring and training.
- Keep the commercial team focused on brand opportunities.
- Provide leadership to direct reports and collaborate positively across teams.
- Report on how campaigns and partnerships are doing.
- Manage costs for promotions and partnership activity.
ABOUT YOU:
- Ideally 2+ years’ experience in radio, publishing, sales, or media agency.
- A creative, passionate storyteller who has a proven track record of selling the dream and delivering highly engaging, rich content solutions across multiple platforms.
- Sound understanding of all media platforms and the role they play within an audience-led, integrated sales solution.
- Strong organisational and team leadership abilities.
- Commercially savvy with demonstrated business acumen.
- Drive to succeed through results and accountability.
- A creative thinker with a passion for innovation.
- A natural influencer and negotiator.
- Customer & audience centric.
