Inbound Call Centre Consultant - Ellerslie

We are a down to earth contact centre with a diverse and multicultural feel that delivers exceptional service whilst having fun along the way. We are the first point of call for newspaper subscribers, retailers and our distribution teams. We are looking for a full-time permanent team member to join our team, for our Ellerslie based contact centre.

Variety is key to this role; these are just some of the things you could be doing on any given day:

  • Handling customer complaints using First Call Resolution - utilising tools and using in-house processes to problem solve.
  • Increase revenue by promoting and upselling NZME. Products.
  • Communicating professionally to our customers, whilst educating them about our services and promoting our self-service channels. 

WHAT DO WE NEED: We want a professional committed to providing the best customer experience, no matter when the customer calls. We have a full time vacancy which could be working the following hours on a rotating roster, for 40 hours a week

  • Monday – Friday: 6.30am- 4.30pm
  • Weekends – 6.30am - 10.30am  

ARE YOU THE RIGHT FIT? To be successful in the role you will need the following:

  • Customer service experience (retail, hospitality, supermarket, call centre, telesales experience all considered)
  • Clear concise and effective communication skills
  • Strong computer skills and an ability to multitask
  • Passion for learning through personal development
  • A strong attention to detail
  • A desire to be part of a driven and successful team
