The goal of this role is to assist the Marketing and Brand Managers in the implementation of the trade marketing strategy for NZME and work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and commercial teams to deliver relevant and targeted marketing activity. Assist in proactively developing and implementing trade marketing plans for the individual titles/brands and the NZME brand. Develop creative and innovative marketing activity to increase brand profile and help to drive advertising revenue growth. Assist in the delivery of trade marketing sponsorships, events and collateral. 

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to get right amongst it; drafting briefs, collating engaging proposals, assisting in the creation of creative content concepts, coordinating and managing project plans, all while providing excellent relationship management to your internal stakeholders.

Ideally, you’ll have had 1-2 years in a marketing coordination role – but if you’re a recent grad with some work experience under your belt we’re equally keen to hear from you. Your excellent communication, attention to detail and organizational skills mean you’re a dab hand at working on multiple projects at once; all while keeping your sense of humour! You’re a natural collaborator, proactive with a positive and confident ‘can-do’ attitude.  Knowledge of the media industry or working with commercial teams would be a great advantage.
