Our busy, vibrant and innovative Creative Hub needs you! NZME is blowing creative out of the water; so we need someone to manage the marketing and commercial workflows of our department as well as be the key contact for integrated briefs, timelines and resources. 

THE ROLE: 

The primary purpose of this role is to develop market leading creative solutions. You will be required to develop creative strategies, concepts, story boards and mocks as well as the final creative asset production across both client funded and internal brand requests, this role needs to bring the creative strategy and communication objective to life across all audience touch points, including print and digital platforms. 

You will also be required to develop a high performance team culture through strong leadership behaviours, regular coaching and development and talent management. 

RESPONSIBILTIES: 

  • Creative Development: Execute a brief from concept to completion, lead brainstorms at the conceptual stage, communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure expectations are met and while delivering market leading creative work. 
  • Innovation: identify and present industry trends, insights and best practice to inform the future output of the Creative team. 
  • Leadership: Promote a team culture which reflects NZME’s values while attracting, developing and retaining the best talent in the industry. This requires regular coaching, development and succession planning to ensure ongoing engagement and motivation of the team. 
  • General Administration and Self-Management: Active participation in the performance review process and all professional development opportunities completing all paper work or pre-work in a timely manner 
  • Project Management: Manage briefs and campaigns from end to end collaborating with different teams and services around the business. 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 

  • Minimum of 7+ years’ experience in studio or agency 
  • Proven experience in people management 
  • Proven ability to deliver integrated creative campaigns 
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud 
  • Excellent understanding of digital 
  • Excellent project management skills 
  • Digital HTML5 ad design and production experience a must 
  • Knowledge of interactive HTML coding, GDN and jQuery is an advantage 
  • Understanding of print process and editorial lay out a bonus 
  • Creative awards will help
