iHeartRadio is one of the world’s biggest and fastest growing radio and music platforms and NZME is looking for a new Product Manager to build on the already staggering success in NZ.

We want someone who is passionate about digital technology, content and building great customer products. You’ll have to be willing to push the boundaries to deliver success because this is at the forefront of the future plans for NZME.

You’ll get to work with some of New Zealand’s best radio brands as well as help NZME deliver content to new devices. And, if that’s not enough, you’ll get the opportunity to be part of a great team who deliver kick-ass digital solutions every day.


The purpose of the Product Manager is to grow the NZME Digital audience size and engagement. We do this through the implementation of product evolution strategies that enable our products to reach new audiences and grow brand loyalty. Success for us is being able to deliver the ultimate customer experience to our audiences across all of our brands and, at the same time, ensuring that we provide equally brilliant advertising experiences.


  • Work with Product Management Team to define vision and key phases of product releases and deliverables on roadmap.
  • Manage and complete all daily product responsibilities on schedule, including but not limited to, workflow management, production, and deployment.
  • Identify, gather and prioritize product requirements and opportunities based on user needs and business metrics.
  • Write use cases and specifications for product launches in conjunction with all relevant teams.
  • Define, monitor, and analyse key performance metrics, clearly communicate what the numbers represent, and provide insight to drive product development recommendations.
  • Use consumer feedback, site metrics, market research, and competitive analysis to create compelling cases for what we should do and why.
  • Maintain relationships, effectively communicate and evangelize product vision and strategy to get buy-in from all stakeholders’ internal stakeholders.
  • Stay abreast of challenges facing the media industry and can develop strategies to ensure NZME wins in the current and future environment.


  • Minimum of 3 years in product management in digital media
  • Proven success in product management roles
  • Understanding of digital product management, content work flows, consumer behaviour and media consumption and how they connect brands and audiences
  • Ability to work collaboratively to create a results-driven, team-oriented environment
  • Ability to clearly identify industry trends and opportunities and develop and implement plans to deliver audience growth
  • Ability to leverage content and audience insights and metrics to drive performance and achieve digital KPIs. Results delivery: able to set and consistently deliver on performance goals.
