Help! Help! As the importance of Culture and Performance has grown at NZME in our quest to be the home of the best talent in NZ so too is our incredibly talented and people focused team, and now we need an Administrator to help keep us afloat.

THE ROLE:

The role will be key in providing administrative support for the team as well as being a source of knowledge on talent related processes for people managers across the business. The creation and delivery of seamless people processes to support organisational objectives will be pivotal to success.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administration skills: Support the recruitment approval process, generate new employment agreements/ variations, manage the employee recognition process and support the wider C&P with ad hoc administration tasks
  • General Support: Support C&P and the Business Partners as required in the employment process while providing timely input on policies and procedures, appropriate workplace legislation and employment agreements
  • Reporting & Systems: Provide and distribute accurate regular and ad hoc reports to ensure accuracy and seamless management

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • MS Office proficiency
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
  • Some knowledge of HR processes and procedure, with an understanding of New Zealand HR related legislation and law
  • Understanding of different types of employment agreements and types including Contractor and Individual Employment Agreements
  • Strong administrative skills, well-organized with attention to detail
  • Adaptable and able to balance priorities, multiple projects, and tasks
  • Ability to work with confidentiality and discretion
