THE ROLE:

  • The primary purpose of this role is assisting with day-to-day website design, creation and implementation. But for this, you’ll also gain the following knowledge:
  • How to ensure brand identity is maintained via coding, layout and visual appearance
  • How to conceptualise, create, design, implement and maintain user interfaces for websites, applications, interactive presentations, maintain templates, style guides, branding elements, original graphics, icons, illustrations, animations, icons and multimedia
  • How to code for websites

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with the Marketing Director to contribute to the development of initiatives, activities and strategies
  • Conceptualise, create, design, implement and maintain user interfaces for websites, applications and interactive presentations
  • Conceptualise, create, design, implement and maintain templates, style guides, branding elements, original graphics, icons, illustrations, animations, icons and multimedia
  • Determining all necessary coding requirements for website including forms, e-commerce capability and specialised scripts
  • Develop templates of approved website layout Provide advice and recommendations on promotional and advertising designs.
  • Provide art direction input into product/promotion development
  • Make appropriate changes to the site and update current information as directed by internal/external clients
  • Work on additional design projects as required Uphold the digital venture brand at all times

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Currently studying towards a relevant degree, or recently graduated looking for experience within web design.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

6th May – 10 July, full time, unpaid
