THE ROLE:

The Digital Marketing Assistant will work closely with the Product Marketing Manager on the marketing for OneRoof (and across the other digital ventures as required), to deliver propositions and programmes to grow audience and customer lifetime value. But for this, you’ll also gain the following knowledge:

  • How to plan and book media for radio, print and digital campaigns
  • How to create co-branded marketing campaigns for clients across digital ventures
  • How to report on digital marketing initiatives
  • How to set up remarketing and tracking
  • How to create and manage a content marketing calendar
  • How to write copy for digital marketing content (e.g. banner ads/ eDM’s/ google ads/ social media ads/ meta data for search)
  • How to setup, track and analyse CRO
  • How to keyword research, tag and link build for SEO
  • How to create, send and analyse email and push notification campaigns

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Digital Marketing: Setting up, copywriting, tracking and reporting on digital marketing content. The majority of the role will focus on copywriting.
  • Media: planning, booking and creating campaigns across NZME’s print, digital & radio assets
  • CRO: A/B testing set up and analysing competitor flows for CRO improvements
  • SEO: Researching, tagging and building for SEO
  • Engagement: Creation, sending and analytics of email and push notification campaigns across radio, print and digital brands
  • Research: Undertake competitor analysis across our brands - brand, social media, SEO
  • Communications: Working with internal stakeholders for content and promo ideas
  • B2B: Own all B2B comms including emails, social, push notifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Currently studying towards a relevant degree, or recently graduated looking for experience within marketing. Copywriting and design skills are essential!
