We’re looking for an exceptional team-player that can build strong relationships who is responsible for merchandising the range of products in the GrabOne e-commerce store.

To be successful in this role you’ll need to be proactive in identifying ways to generate revenue growth, as well as being commercially-minded and able to monitor customer demand. You will be accountable for the delivery of store targets by coaching the team to deliver results through business development and managing client relationships.

Key responsibilities in the role are (but not limited to):

  • Strategy and development of store buying and merchandising
    • Generate business analysis to track selling, identify key trends and maximize opportunities in the product range in order to achieve continued growth and profitability of the store.  
    • Collaborate with management in the development and execution of merchandising and promotional strategies for all store categories.  
  • Sales management including setting revenue, commission, and sales targets
    • Develop, manage and oversee generation of new revenue opportunities. 
    • Deliver on revenue targets and business imperatives.
  • Business development and relationship management
    • Proactively source, promote and sell the GrabOne store marketplace as the first choice ecommerce solution.
    • Lead the development of effective customer relationships internally and externally.

About you:

  • You will have 5+ years of previous experience in a fast-paced sales environment
  • 3+ years of e-commerce retail buying and merchandising experience for an e-commerce marketplace in New Zealand
  • Proficient at e-commerce content management systems
  • Demonstrated track recording of knowledge sharing, coaching and developing others 

A tertiary business qualification and 1-2 years previous leadership experience is preferred but not essential.
